16 Bridges Today; Los Omas Marina in Ft. Lauderdale

After a rough night for the captain due to high winds, we pulled anchor at 7 a.m. to head south to Ft. Lauderdale. Winds were 18-22 with gusts to 30 knots. There were white caps!

We went through 16 bascule bridges...some opening on demand, some before and after the quarter hour and others on hour and half hour. Timing is everything, but only had to wait for one for more than a few minutes.

The hand is still improving slowly. Can't use it at all yet, so doing everything with my left hand. Very frustrating.

Wayne's cousin, Joan, is taking us to Best Buy to buy Patti a new laptop. Then we're going to dinner.
Chuck got a total of two hours sleep last night, so he opted to skip dinner out and dog sit.

We may stay here two nights to set up Patti's new computer and pay bills!
